Audience measurement and linking your visit to your request
We measure site traffic with Umami, a tool Revalo hosts itself (stats.revalo.tech). By default this measurement is anonymous: no cookie, no IP address stored, no identifier that follows you from site to site. It does not require your consent. It also counts, without identifying you, useful actions such as sending a form or booking a call.
If you have accepted the “Audience measurement” category and you contact us (form, call booking, or chat with your email), we link your visit to your request. The pages viewed during that visit are then associated with: an encrypted fingerprint of your email address (SHA-256, which cannot be turned back into the address), the domain of your email address (replaced by “personal mailbox” for consumer email services), the company name you entered, the contact channel and the site language. Your email address itself is never sent to the measurement tool.
With the same consent, we also attach to your request where your visit came from: the site you arrived from (search engine, social network, AI assistant…), any campaign (UTM parameters) and the first page you viewed. This information is kept in your browser for the duration of the visit only, and is sent only with your request.
If you have accepted it, recording of your journey (pages, clicks, scrolling) may also be enabled to help us improve the site.
- Purpose: understand what was useful to you before your request, to answer it better and improve the site.
- Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time via “Manage cookies” at the bottom of every page. Withdrawing stops any further linking and any recording.
- Recipient: Revalo only. The data stays on our self-hosted measurement tool.
- Retention: 25 months maximum.
Security
REVALO applies appropriate technical and organisational measures: encryption of sensitive data, access control, logging, regular backups, staff awareness and security audits.
